Our Story

MiaMilo’s journey started in the Bavarian countryside, in a town called Pippenhof to be exact. Our co-founder Thomas was at a family barbecue chatting with his sister about new accessories for her dog. They realized that customization options for dog collars and leashes were few and far between. Thomas and his partner Lester, both well-versed in product customization, knew that people are always on the look out for unique accessories for their beloved pets, which is where MiaMilo’s “style with a twist” angle was born.

A family’s love for dogs, paired with a passion for innovation, lies at the heart of our vision of a world where people can create accessories that reflect their pet's unique personality and style.

What is the TwistLock™ System?

The TwistLock system allows our charms to be swapped out when you feel like updating your style and keeps them securely in place for everyday wear.

What material are the charms made from?

All of our charms are made from hypoallergenic zinc-alloy to keep your pet's skin safe and irritation free. They are also electroplated which gives them a unique rustic look.

Where are your products tested?

All of our products and prototypes are field-tested in the German countryside. This includes river tracing as well as galavanting through woods and marshes.

How do I measure my dog’s neck to get the correct size?

Our sizing guide shows you how to measure your dog's neck. Our collars also adjustable to ensure optimal comfort and fit.

Made-to-order: how long does it take to make my MiaMilo collar and leash?

Our processing times are approximately 5-7 days. Each product is made-to-order, which means each product is hand-made based off the specs provided in the order.

Made-to-order: how long does it take to ship my MiaMilo collar and leash?

Standard shipping times for DHL, FedEx, USPS, UPS, and DPD are up to 3-7 days based on your location. In the EU standard shipping times are roughly 15-30 days.

Where do your products ship from?

All of our bespoke designs are created in a small factory located outside of Shenzhen, China. All of our bespoke designs originate there, and this is where the courier will pick up your order.

What is your warranty policy?

All of our products are covered by a 30-month warranty. If your MiaMilo accessory doesn't hold up under regular use within 30 months of purchase, simply contact our support team and we will send you a free replacement. Please note that regular use doesn't include the following: Chewing by pets, Damage by extended water submersion, Damage by tying to stationary objects, Non-responsible use or neglect.
